WHAT WE DID ON OUR WINTER VACATION: Another view atop Macchu Pichu. Kathryn and Kelly were the only Americans in their guided tour group along with 4 Canadians, 4 Irish and 4 English. Guided tours are the only way you can hike the Inca Trail. They went with GAP - Great Adventure People - based in Canada. They say this was a great cultural experience as well as the most difficult and most rewarding hike they have ever taken. Kelly turned 21 on the hike. Fall 2005

WHAT WE DID ON OUR WINTER VACATION: Hiking McDowell mtns in Fountain Hills. This photo was taken along the nature trail after a 4 miles hike up the mountain. The landscape is especially green after the wet winter we all enjoyed this year. Winter 2005 *SOURCE: svs*
