Trailhead Parking: Access from Juniper Ridge or Los Caballos Trailheads. Both accommodate trailers.

Access to Trail:       From the Show Low Post Office, to Juniper Ridge, travel west on AZ 260 for 11 miles to Farnsworth Ranch Road. Turn left and the trailhead is 2 miles ahead on the Left. From Show Low Post Office, to Los Caballos, travel west on AZ 260 for 3.9 miles. Turn left on FR 136 and the trailhead is .6 miles ahead on the right.

Trail Highlights:      The trail is named for the Juniper Ridge Lookout tower. The tower is the highest point on the connector at 6,998 feet in elevation. The tower may be open to the public in June and July. This trail was severely burned in the 2002 Rodeo-Chediski Fires and reconstruction was completed November, 2013.
